Rotary
Club of Great Missenden
Shoe Box Collection, 2005
Another record year for Shoe Box Collection - with 1,814 boxes. Second highest club in the UK for this year (2005), and first in the District. In the picture, Rotarians are loading the truck prior to transport to Preston and then on to Romania. The project is a joint venture with Lighthouse. Many thanks to all the schools, churches, and other individuals who contributed to it.
Rotarian George Rivas is the master-mind behind the operation which has been making record collections over several years.
