Some snapshots of the District Conference through the eyes of the Registrar ...

26. At Saturday's pre-dinner
reception, Rtn David Aked-Walker
[President of Newport Pagnell] with Josefina Guruswamy and
Rtn Elizabeth Wilton - wife of DG Dist 1120 covering Eastbourne.

27. A magician entertaining
Great Missenden Club members at their
dining table. Rtn Richard Waterfield is watching his moves carefully.

28. Another magician confounding Rtn Alan Maizels of Great Missenden

29. The Deja Vu group got many
Rotarians and their partners on to the
dance floor quickly.

30. Rtn Jill Gibson (left) goes
for an early morning walk on
Sunday morning with a teddy-bear and PDG Janet Peirce. The teddy bear
is a gift for the children from Shed at the Park, who were due to perform
later that morning. In the background is The Grand Hotel chosen
as the main Conference Hotel.

31, 32, 33. As promised by the
Conference Chairman, the finale
was an emotional roller coaster. Performed by 'Shed at The Park', it is based in
Chesham, home town of Governor Les Lee. About 70 of its
members with mixed abilities had an opportunity to plan and perform
their own original production to reflect on the theme of 'Making Dreams Real'.
Alas...the conference came to an end, punctually.
